That’s right everyone, attention shifted to the Synagogue in Woburn Avenue today, where we were very happy to be able to play our favourite game, among good friends and some serious aficionados of the game. Thanks to the members and committee of Jack’s club for the opportunity to play there.
The two old guys, that is Ian and yours truly, came in first, with David and Alana second and Tor and Heather third. The hands were challenging, the bidding was competitive and the defenses didn’t give an inch.
Please take it easy over the next two weeks, avoid unpleasant people, play some bridge and prepare for it’s challenges.
