And a very good evening to all of you bridge folk. We had five and a half tables tonight and we were pleased to welcome James and Ursula back after being away for a long time and we also had a visitor, Angela, who comes all the way from Dorset, in England. Well, you see, our fame has spread far and wide, with players arriving from all over the world.
Enough of that!
We were watching the screen, with just one board outstanding, and Bridie and Paul were leading Helen and Deirdre by 0,2%. Then the last board result came in, resulting in a dead heat between these two pairs.
Exciting stuff indeed!
And then we were finished, and I don’t know if you agree with me, but I always feel a little sorry to know that the last hand has been played and that we have to wait two days before we can play some more bridge.
Man, this game is addictive!
See you all on Thursday (well at least most of you).
